DESCRIPTION: 

The AG & AG Intro to Holster course is a 3-hour program designed to introduce women to safety and drawstroke in working from the holster. This is an ideal first class for women who are interested in learning how to select a holster, and be set up for success for training in a tactical environment, competitively shooting matches, or carrying for self defense.

This is an ideal first holster class for women who are interested in learning how to select a holster, and be set up for success for training in a tactical environment, competitively shooting matches, or carrying for self defense.

GEAR REQUIREMENTS:

• Gun

• Two magazines

• 150 rounds of range ammo (FMJ)

• Sturdy Belt

• Pants/skirt with belt loops

• Closed toe shoes (no flipflops/sandals)

• Shirt with high neckline (no tanks or low cuts)

• Hat with brim recommended.

• Strong side holster, preferred OWB (unless loaner equipment has been arranged). Appendix IWB is accepted. No Serpa Holsters

• At least one magazine holder, preferred double holder (2 magazines)

• Ear/Eye protection

• Suitable outdoor garments for weather (we shoot rain/shine)

• Notebook/pen/pencil for note taking

• Water/snacks are optional

• Folding Chair

Please note that we will have NO LIVE AMMO in the classroom area during the first part of class. You will need your UNLOADED firearm, sturdy belt, holster, TWO UNLOADED magazines and magazine holder for the classroom portion of the day. Firearms will need to remain bagged until "cleared and roped" by an instructor.
