LOCATION: Private classroom in Westerville, OH. Range time will be at Cardinal Pistol Range.

DESCRIPTION: 

The AG & AG Intro to Holster course is a 4-hour, in-person class plus range time, designed to introduce individuals who are ready to build confidence and capability while learning how to safely draw and reholster a firearm from an outside the waistband holster.  This is an ideal first class for both men and women who will gain essential knowledge in firearm safety, range procedures, holster selection, and basic handling techniques to ensure a successful and empowering experience.  Taught by Certified A Girl & A Gun Instructors and a supportive, credentialed team, this course offers expert guidance in a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment.

PREREQUSITES: 

- AG & AG Intro to Handgun or equivalent experience​

GEAR REQUIREMENTS:

• Gun

• Ear & Eye Protection

• Approved Holster 

• Firearm FITS the Holster

• Holster Covers the Trigger Guard

• Holster Successfully Retains the Firearm

• Holster Fits Well on the Belt​

• Belt Meets Following Requirements:

  • Fits the holster attachments​

  • Doesn't sage under the weight of the gun

  • Fits the shooter snuggly

• ​​Mag Pouches Fits Magazines​

• Holster and Mag Pouches Positioned Properly

• Pants Have Adequate Belt Loops

• Shirt is Fully Tucked In

• Remove loose bracelets, bulky rings, long necklaces or draping scarves

• NO Concealment Garments

Please note that we will have NO LIVE AMMO in the classroom area during the first part of class. You will need your UNLOADED firearm, sturdy belt, holster, TWO UNLOADED magazines and magazine holder for the classroom portion of the day. Firearms will need to remain bagged until "cleared and roped" by an instructor.
