DESCRIPTION: 

The AG & AG New Shooter course is a 4-hour program, plus range time designed to provide the knowledge and experience to safely and confidently enjoy shooting your handgun! The New Shooter course is an ideal first class for indiiduals interested in learning the essentials about semi-automatic handguns and becoming safe and responsible participants at the range.

PREREQUSITES: The New Shooter course is an ideal first class for both men and women interested in learning the essentials about semi-automatic handguns and becoming safe and responsible participants at the range.

GEAR REQUIREMENTS:

• Gun*

• Two magazines*

• 150 rounds of range ammo (FMJ)

• Pants/skirt with belt loops

• Closed toe shoes (no flipflops/sandals)

• Shirt with high neckline (no tanks or low cuts)

• Hat with brim recommended.

• Ear/Eye protection

• Suitable outdoor garments for weather (we shoot rain/shine)

• Notebook/pen/pencil for note taking

• Water/snacks are optional

• Folding Chair

* IF you don't have your own handgun and magazines, arrangements can be made to provide one for your use during range time.

Please note that we will have NO LIVE AMMO in the classroom area during the first part of class. You will need your UNLOADED firearm, TWO UNLOADED magazines for the classroom portion of the day. Firearms will need to remain bagged until "cleared and roped" by an instructor.
